This information is fluid, and bound to be changed as I work through what works well for the game. I'll take anything which is a good idea.
1. No Background above 3. Incredible justification will be necessary for any background at 4.
2. Every "4" should be justified in a background.
3. Every "Setite" should have at least Serp 1 (especially new/inexperienced players). This will facilitate access to the temple.
4. Thurmaturgy is allowed, but you need a *DAMN* good background. There are limited places for Thurmaturgists in this game.
4.1. The *merit* Occult Library is not used, in preference of the "Background" Occult Library. You may not start with more than 2 dots in this without a *DAMN* good reason.
4.2 See Also "Rules for Rituals" Posting.
5. No "Primary" class Disciplines (that is, any discipline that is unlikely to be taught outside of the clan).
6. All Mentors need to be described and noted. Any Especially Noteworthy mentor will need an outline of why they are noteworthy.
7. Definatly no starting character with 5 in Attributes
8. No more than 5 flaws or merits.
9. Only one Character in the Setite Venue Per Player.
Banned Merits
Former Ghoul - From Guide To the Camerilla. System doesn't work in current game style.
Setite Status Notes: IF you are considering taking "status:Settite", please be aware that you will still require "temple" Status that can only be aquired through gameplay. Though the ease at which you can gain Temple Status is influenced by taking this, and the "Mentor" background.
NOTE: Please remember that background can go DOWN as well as up during game-play. It is possibly to annoy your Mentor to the extent that he will not come to your aid etc.
