Character Creation Guidelines



Garou



BREED/AUSPICE/TRIBE

CONCEPTS/NATURE/DEMEANOR

Please make sure your concept is one that is both believable, and fits in with the setting of the chat. A Silverfang Ninja Warrior is not exactly the best thought out concept one can come up with.

ATTRIBUTES:
No 5 and Only ONE 4 for a starting character, NO exceptions.

ABILITIES:

Only ONE 4 for a starting character, NO exceptions. Any Ability over 3 must be purchased with freebies. 4's must fit concept and require intense reasoning on behalf of the player.
The Secondary Abilities may be taken at HALF Ability cost.

LORES

Since it is a bit silly to require players to buy lores to know about themselves, we are allowing 2 free pts in Lores. One must be in their tribal lore. The other may be an addition point of tribal lore or Wyrm, Weaver, or Wyld according to the concept and background

We have no garou lore. This knowledge is covered either in tribal lores or Wyrm, Weaver, or Wyld lore.

We have no Spirit or Umbra lores. This knowledge is covered under Cosmology.

No cross venue lores at creation.

BACKGROUNDS

Purebreed will be capped at 3 [Silverfang, Shadowlord] and 2 [other tribes] with good background to explain it.

Fetish at creation for Cliaths are limited to 2pts with explaination in background. No Fetish Weapons at creation except for Blade Slaves. Unique Fetishes will have to be gained through rp.

No Numen.

Ancestors limited to 3.

No more then 5 dots in any one background.

RITES
No rites above level 2 at creation.

RAGE/GNOSIS/WILLPOWER

MAXIUM +2 over starting stat.

MERITS/FLAWS:
Up to seven points will be allowed in merits and flaws. Please make sure they fit your character's concept and background. Storyteller approval for merits and flaws may very from venue to venue. ***NOTE: Tribal flaws are assumed.***

Black Spiral Dancers



1) BSD characters must submit a background history, the history doesn't need to be brilliant or 300 pages long, but needs to be consistent and should give at least some details of your life before the first change, what marked your personality, your relation with the tribe (of lack of it, or first meet with it, etc), what happened when you were just a cub in the hive, what did you see in the first circle of the spiral when you took your transmogrification (the evil inside you), how you serve your urge, how it influences your actions, things of that nature.

6) BACKGROUNDS (these are the maximums allowed) - Pure Breed: None (no PB5 BSDs will be sanctioned at this time) - Fetish: 2 (Nonweapon Fetish) - Spirit Heritage: 3 (must explain who and nature of the relationship) - Resources: 3 (if you feel you have an exceptional story to justify 4 you may attempt to convince the STs)
- Touched: Wyrm 3 / Weaver 1 / Wyld 1 (any levels of this background must be justified in the backstory)
- Influence: capped for garou at 5 - permanent rage rating. The Curse tends to make it difficult to forge strong influence over any mortal endeavor
- Numen: Restricted (submitted background required) and capped at 3 for all characters
- All others may be restricted or banned due to incomplete explaination in your backstory or overpopulation in the game

7) RAGE/GNOSIS/WILLPOWER MAXIUM +2 over starting stat.

8) TAINT: All BSDs have a Taint rating of their rank +1 (Starting of 2)

Kinfolk



BREED/TRIBE/RELATION

NO PC wolf kin.
NO PC Red Talons.

CONCEPTS/NATURE/DEMEANOR

Please make sure your concept is one that is both believable, and fits in with the setting of the chat. A kinfolk concept should include a useful contribution to the nation. Kinfolk are not baby machines.

Guardians will NOT be required except if it is Tribal Custom.
ATTRIBUTES:

No 5 and no more then ONE 4 for a starting character, NO exceptions.

ABILITIES:

(11/7/4)

• Only ONE 4 for a starting character, NO exceptions.

Fallen Garou



Fallen characters must submit a background history, the history doesn't need to be brilliant or 300 pages long, but needs to be consistent and should give at least some details of your life before the first change, what marked your personality, your relation with the Nation (or lack of it, first encounters with it, etc), what happened when you were just a cub, what caused the wyrm to take up hold in your soul, how it influences your actions, things of that nature.

Fallen garou must conform to the creation rules for garou.

TAINT: All Fallen Garou have a Taint rating of their rank (Starting of 1)
